First day of Ballroom Dancing, and while the teacher explains the BOOM CHIK CHIK CHIK beat all I can think of is Patapon. I had to stifle many grins and laughs, which would have made me look a little silly in front of all the girls. I say it like I was on show in front of the class, but when you’re one of only a dozen guys standing in front of three dozen girls, “in front of all the girls” is a very valid term for your level of exposure.
I feel bad for the females, being just one of many, with so few guys to pair up with. BUT NOW THEY KNOW WHAT IT FEELS LIKE TO BE IN COMPSCI. (And so do I. It’s good.)
chk chk chk
(sorry lol)
my fundamentals of energy in building class is surprisingly almost all girls. so is my architecture studio, but that’s not really surprising.
Huh. I wish. Or, rather, I guess there may be fewer girls in CS, but nobody cares. 🙂
I took dancing once. I was in elementary school. I didn’t learn to dance but I learned how to beat up the boys who refused to dance with me. And I never wanted to take dancing again.
So “hitting on the boys” had a totally different meaning for you back then?
Pata pata…omg lol I think everyone who doesn’t own a PSP would think of you very weird. =] LOLOL! Wow, did the girls have to sub in as guys to make it even?
The teacher doesn’t force any girls to learn the guys’ parts. He did ask whether any of us knew guys that were not doing anything this period, and to beg them to join.
We get three girls paired up with each of us guys at the start of the class. We try to match up based on size. (With Modern Jive, for the really tall girls I kind of had to tiptoe bounce to clear their heads without me getting up real close.)
